And that is what I am trying to do.

I merely asked for advice to the process as I had stated in my first post I have done nothing yet.

Do you think that I dont have the option to say nothing about that first job? of course I do. I already know the IRS have no record of me.

So I could have stated nothing at all about the SSN.

I feel deeply for all the people who are separated from the people that they are away from.

but breaking laws in order to stay here is not the answer. And yes, go back to Ireland and wait like everyone else. I am separated from my husband. I have been married for over a year and a half. I want to be with him but the laws are the laws. I visit him every 6 or 8 weeks. I do what I have to do.

I think she should obey the laws of the United States if she wants to be allowed to live here.

You know how people win shows like survivor? It's because they play the game, not because they followed the rules. Do you know how a huge chunk of the richest people in America got to where they are? They broke the rules.

Don't get me wrong, I don't agree or approve of what CCARTER did, but it sounds like she didn't come over with the intention of overstaying, and she certainly didn't marry her husband to stay here, so if all she needs to do is apply for AOS and doesn't have to deal with the stress of being separated, more power to her. She's playing the game and winning.

And furthermore, her situation is completely separate from anyone else. She doesn't affect your approval, she hasn't taken your job (and in fact quit her illegal job) so hey, in the grand scheme of things, she's one drop in an ocean. Let her go on her way.

There are 12,000,000 more in the same boat, you want prferential trearment, even over all of us doing it legally.

You have broken several laws and want forgiveness from the government and our help to get to the head of the line???

This is why it is such a pain for those of us who chose the legal route.

She quit her illegal job, that makes SSI fraud OK.

12,000,000 drops make an ocean.

that is true I didn't come with the intention of staying here illegally.

It is for love that I am fighting this battle. Do you not think I miss the security of home, my friends, my family?

Do you not think I am scared of this whole process? Remember if I get deported I will be gone for ten years but even then I will fight to stay by the man I love.

Craneman I never said what I did was ok.

I didnt create my own SSn did you stop to think about the AMERICANS who hired me and gave me the job?

And I am not looking for any special treatment. Again I only asked for information on the process. I didn't ask for any shortcuts or ways to get ahead. You need to take a few deep breaths.

The ones that hired you are not here asking for help.

You are one of the 12,000,000 illegals, you just happen to speak English.

You know you are quite the coward doing this online, if you don't want ot offer any help how about logging off my post.

You should come from a place of saying nothing when you have nothing nice to say.

I'll keep you updated on my status in the next few months.

And btw I'm quite aware of what I am.

Remember we all got here on a boat.

And I came here legally. VWP to be exact. the important word in your last post is MOST.

I can't change what has happened in my past nor do I want too, it all happens for a reason.

Good day to you.

YOU overstayed, the reason doesn't matter..... YOU overstayed period. You knew it was wrong and you knew you weren't allowed to work. You did both. Seriously... As a USC, I am working my butt off to support my american family. I married a foreigner and I am trying to go threw the process LEGALLY. Why can't you do the same? Don't ask for special treatment or look for ways to avoid going back. The illegals use up my tax dollars etc. etc etc.... Everyone makes mistakes but IMO you knew what you were doing. Whether or not you intended to overstay or not, You still did it. ENOUGH SAID !!

If you post on a PUBLIC forum then I suggest you suck it up and take what is coming. If it isn't what you wanted to hear then go talk to an attorney in private.

schools, health care etc and so on. The illegals send their illegal kids to the public schools and use up my tax dollars. They drive the PSSA scores down and the schools lose funding. they suck up all the free stuff they can ALL PAID FOR BY TAX DOLLARS.

AND I HAVE DONE NONE OF THAT. My husband and I are purposely NOT having children until this is all resolved one way or another.

I have never been to a doctor in the US because I can't afford to pay out of pocket expenses. My husband gets crippled with taxes because he can't file as married and he works a s**t load of extra hours to support both of us.

MAybe it would be better that you get all the facts?

I am not the same as every person who is illegal.
