2. Joint bank statements.

3. Appartment Lease

4. Joint Car Insurance.

5. Some Pictures

6. Our son's Date of Birth Certificate

8. Joint Car Loan Document

9. Joint Car Registartion

10. Letter of affidavits from 2 friends

11. Travel/trip document

12. Joint untility bill such as comcast, electricity, directv

Moreover, I have some questions also:

1. Do I need to send copy of my passport?

2. Do I need to send passport size pictures?

3. Do I need to send bank statements since I recieved conditional GC(almost 23 months ago) or last 6 months should be good?

4. We have 3 joint account, so shall I send 23 months statement from all the 3 accounts?

5. How should I organise my document, do I just send them loose in an envelope or do I whole punch them and make a binder?

Please share your comments/suggestions.

Thanks

Hi maverick17,

First of all, welcome to VJ!Your evidence looks great to me and no need for passport photos unless you are filing from overseas i.e. in the military. You can send a copy of your passport no problem as many of us here did :P You can add health/life insurance if you have, drivers licenses and or State ID showing same home address,letters/cards addressed to both of you as a couple. For bank statements send at least 2-3 statements for each year, same with your utility bills.Yes you are right, send evidence that covers the time since you had your conditional status or green card.Use folder with 2 punched hole on top.Good luck!

P.S.

You can write your Alien number also on top right corner on each document just in case anything gets separated itwill be easy to match-up.

I used 3 statements from Bank, credit card and utility companies - one from about 2 yrs ago, one from about a year ago and one recent - to show consistency through the last two years. No need to send every statement - just a few will be OK. Good luck

11. Travel/trip document

12. Joint untility bill such as comcast, electricity, directv

Looks good

Moreover, I have some questions also:

1. Do I need to send copy of my passport? No.

2. Do I need to send passport size pictures? No, unless you live outside of the US -ie in the military. You will be given a biometrics appointment to take your fingerprints and your photograph.

3. Do I need to send bank statements since I recieved conditional GC(almost 23 months ago) or last 6 months should be good? You should include evidence that spans the whole time of your marriage from your AOS approval to now. Examples from each year (quarterly or each half year) should work.

4. We have 3 joint account, so shall I send 23 months statement from all the 3 accounts? Yes, this shows to degree to which you have intermingled your financial affairs. Again, examples spread over each year would be sufficient - beginning, middle, end, etc. - not from each month. Do the same for your utility bills examples as well.

5. How should I organise my document, do I just send them loose in an envelope or do I whole punch them and make a binder? Save your binder - it would just be discarded when USCIS got it. USCIS prefers things 2 hole punched at the top and secured with an ACCO fastener - this is the two pronged metal holder that folds down and is secured by a sliding bar. (you can get them at office supply stores). USCIS will take whatever you send them apart and put them in their own ACCO fastened folders so this makes it easier for them and you.If you don't want to use or can't find an ACCO fastener, use a thick binder clip at the top of the documents to hold them together and in order.

Please share your comments/suggestions.

Thanks
