I also read a lot. My favorites are fantasy novels (something similar to Lord of the Rings). My current favorite is The Wheel of Time by former Robert Jordan. This series has been running since 1989. But he died before releasing the 12th and final chapter. I guess I will never know the end of the story unless his family gives the green light on the final manuscript.

One of my favourite stories out there, currently on the 10th book.

The manuscript for the "12th" book has been written by a Brandon Sanderson, hand picked by Robert Jordan's Wife I do believe. However the story that was meant to be 1 book has become 3, so the series will now be 14 books long, the 12th is Due for release late this fall. http://www.dragonmount.com/News/?p=483

Really? Wow that is good news. I can't wait to see how the war against the White Tower goes and what happens to Rand and friends. Sorry....hehe...you will know after you read the 11th book. Thanks for the link also. I really wish they make a movie of this story but I think the probabilities are close to zero. The story is way big.

The sold the rights to the first book this year to Universal, so give them 12 months I would be checking listings for when the Eye of the World comes out on the big screen, I would love to a part of that! Though I will admit, the movie wont nearly be as good as the first book.

They declared war on the White tower in the 9th book and are currently moving into place, so yes I know what your talking about .

Yes you are right. hehehehe. But you will feel the same as I did when I finished the 11th book. At least by the time you get to that book the 12th will be almost there. Me? I've been waiting what seems like forever for the 12th book. The end of the 11th is spectacular.

I do want to see the movies. Also I would like to get the comics when they get out. I hope they don't mess up.

Chris Started reading them when they basically first came out, so he is in the same boat as you.

But yeah, I am enjoying them, just haven't really had the headspace to be able to sit down and really read them lately. Too many distractions at the moment lol.

I remember how I got by the first book in the series back in 1989. I was in my first year of college and I was helping my aunt to clean a room that my cousin and her husband were sleeping in when they were spending their vacations in Puerto Rico. I saw the cover and I thought....."Hey....this looks like a good story". Once I began I couldn't put the book down. After that I was hooked.

One of my favorite parts of the story is when Rand was kidnapped by some rogue Aes Sedai and after a fierce battle he broke free of his bonds. WOW!!!!! I felt like watching an action movie. hehehehe

Anyway........ I'm sure that the rest of the books are going to be exciting with Tarmon Gaidon getting closer. Lets see how it goes.

Nope.

We only know that the cheque was cashed thru bank statement.

No other proof.

The number definetly and most certainly exists, i have been checking the application status through it since i discovered it.

But NOA1 is still the issue, we never recieved it.

I have been advised by a few knowledgeful comrades at another forum that getting this exclusive application number which shows at the back of the cheque means one obtained an NOA1 status automatically but the question then arises as to why does an NOA1 status not appear on the screen during online checking of my status.

Only shows application pending, No touches, No progress whatsoever.

Even after more than 60 days.

Don't rely only on checking your status online. Many had their visa already in hand and their status still says "pending".

That number that begins with EAC for those of us that applied in Vermont IS your case # that means you have NOA 1. The very fact that your case already appears online means that you have your NOA 1. Basically, if I'm not mistaken, NOA 1 happens when they receive your I-129F package with the correct payment and they put it on the loooong conveyor towards NOA 2. Some receive the hard copy fast some take longer.
