Hi everyone, I know answers to this query wont give me an exact and accurate replies but at least give an idea.

On March 26 , I received an email notification re my EAD application that states CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED from CRIS. I'm just wondering if how long card will arrive to me though it says that PLEASE ALLOW 30 DAYS but Ive seen so many timelines here that their card has arrived one week after the notice. The question is, CAN I APPLY FOR A JOB NOW KNOWING THAT EAD HAS BEEN APPROVED? OR WILL JUST WAIT FOR MY EAD TO ARRIVE IN MAIL? ty ty ty very much vjers

You can apply now, but they can't legally start you working till you have the EAD in your hands.

They (company your looking to work for) most likely will tell you to come back when you have it.

(no way of knowing the delay if receipt).

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

CONGRATULATIONS!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Hey there, I am in the same boat, found out today my EAD was approved. Vvvveeeerrrrrryyyyy happy since it's been over 135 days. But I was wondering, why do we have to wait to have the card on-hand to start working if it's approved and everything?

Thanks for your reply... so they need physical proof for their knowledge? Or if they trust I am honest is that not good enough? I know, I am very naive... Oh, and good luck on your upcoming interview jettyglenn...
