What does Medical Appointment date and time signify on K1 interview appointment letter?

My fiancée received her visa interview letter (along with Packet 4) from the embassy in New Delhi with an interview appointment and a medical appointment listed at the bottom:

Date Time

02 APR 2009 10:00

Does anybody know what the Medical Appointment refers to? According to the Medical Report info sheet included with Packet 4 (also shown on the New Delhi embassy's website here: http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/medical_reportinfo.html ) , it says she needs to make her own arrangements and schedule an appointment with one of the listed doctors. She has already got her medical tests done and has the sealed report from the doctor. So we are really confused what she needs to do for the Medical Appointment listed in the letter for April 2nd.

I would suggest that you post this on the regional forum for India and see what people have to say there, as they might know more about the situation. Also, sounds like you might have to give the consulate a call. To me, it sounds like they scheduled the medical for her (and if that is the case, you need to cancel it!). But before you cancel it, call the consulate and make sure that this is what has happened and that the report that she already has is enough.

Again, this is all guesswork as I do not know how it works in India! But in the regional forums there are lots of people that do!
