Hi Folks,

Supposing you were interviewed during your AOS, and now you had to file for I-751(jointly filed), is there the possibility to escape an interview in the later case, in view of the fact that you have had one interview at the AOS level already?

Hmmm!

Yours,

FAQ:

7.7) ..Is there another interview required to lift my conditional status?

A..All though the vast majority of jointly filed I-751s do not have an interview, you may indeed be required to attend an interview. Some files are selected for a sort of quality control check on the system, and may be transferred to the Local Office for interview. These cases may receive an RFE from the local office, and then find that the interview is cancelled. There is also a growing number of people being called for interviews (4/07) and there is a suspicion among the online community that PRs who did not have an AOS interview (via transfer to CSC or via the DORA program) may be automatically put in the interview queue for I-751.

At any rate, there should be no automatic assumption of a problem just because you get an interview letter.

They are looking for evidence you are still married and living together. Doesn't have anything to do the fact you already had a AOS interview. Things can change fast.

From what I've seen and in our case also. If you submit a significant amount of evidence showing you are still married and living together you won't be interviewed.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I believe that you will be called for an interview if there is a suspicion of fraud or if you did not submit plenty of evidence.AOS applicants for sure majority will be called for an interview but with I-751 it's pretty rare.Good luck to us all who are waiting for an approval. (F)
