Hi everyone,

I have a question and need some help!

I'm getting ready to submit the AOS documents, and I'm stuck with the affidavit.

I'm a US Citizen.

I'm currently a full-time graduate student in my last semester, so I'm currently unemployed.

So I have no income to support my husband.

I do have a joint sponsor that meets the 125% poverty line income.

Will this be fine? Or will I have problems because I, myself don't have any income or any assets?

Thank you for your help!!! :)

Did anyone go through more or less the same thing?? If yes, what did they say or do?

There are others here who's income did not meet the financial qualifications and had a joint sponsor, but what do you mean, "what did they say or do"? They acquired a joint-sponsor, filled out the necessary paperwork and sent it in along with the other necessary forms.

Yup, as long as the jointsponsor makes up to get to the 125%, you're all set and shouldn't worry about it :)

Yup, as long as the jointsponsor makes up to get to the 125% taking into consideration his/her household size, you're all set and shouldn't worry about it :)

Ok, perfect!! What I meant by what did they do or say, I was referring to USCIS/Interviewer etc. !!!

Thanks for all your help!! ;)
