Affidavit of Support - No Income!! Need Help!!

Hi everyone,

I have a question and need some help!

I'm getting ready to submit the AOS documents, and I'm stuck with the affidavit.

I'm a US Citizen.

I'm currently a full-time graduate student in my last semester, so I'm currently unemployed.

So I have no income to support my husband.

I do have a joint sponsor that meets the 125% poverty line income.

Will this be fine? Or will I have problems because I, myself don't have any income or any assets?

There are others here who's income did not meet the financial qualifications and had a joint sponsor, but what do you mean, "what did they say or do"? They acquired a joint-sponsor, filled out the necessary paperwork and sent it in along with the other necessary forms.

Yup, as long as the jointsponsor makes up to get to the 125%, you're all set and shouldn't worry about it

Ok, perfect!! What I meant by what did they do or say, I was referring to USCIS/Interviewer etc. !!!

And don't forget... even if you have no income or insufficient income, you MUST submit your own I-864 as the primary sponsor. always.
