I'm for border control, no wall, and gun control, but believe non-criminals (like Charles) should be allowed to own guns. Where do I sign up?! :unsure::P

what's your definition of gun control?

Keeping guns off the streets and out of the hands of criminals, and the selling of guns not required for the average hunter or sportsman.

They are derided as cowards and defeatists by the nativist xenophobes who support the wall. I wonder if the same characterization applies to men and women who use the same cowardly argument against gun control.

A little off topic here...but any suggestions for a nice quality lightweight shotgun?

I know Benelli makes an ultralight, but I haven't had a chance to give it a whirl, so any thoughts would be great.

(I do love some skeet shooting, but get off balance easily due to being...well...tall and lacking in big guns of the arm variety :) )

what gauge and are you looking for o/u or semi?

personally, i'm a big fan of the remington 1100, then the winchester 101

Thanks Charles! In the past I've only used a 12 break action. Liked it just fine. But I tried a friend's Benelli Monte the other day and liked it - it was just (and I know, this is wimpy of me) a little bit heavy, so I was rocking back more than I would like. Liked the semi action though, very nice.

who decides the requirement? and ... what defines "average hunter or sportsman"?

come on ... be specific. you're very loose in your terms and requirements.
