Congrats to all of those who got case complete and those who have to endure yet another weekend w/o any news, I am right there with you, hoping our CR1 will be released from the grips of AP so it can be sent to consulate in time for hubby's K3 interview.

The consulate just received our K3 this morning and it was signed for by ASAAD :P Now we wait for them to call hubby to come pick up his appointment package and assign an interview date.

YES...ME!!! OMGGGGGGGG maybe it will be lucky Tuesday!! Not only was I told final review stages...I am now getting the famous sign in failed error messages on the NVC payment website I saw so many ppl get the day before they got case complete from NVC!!! :dance::dance::dance: OMGGGGGGGGG I can just feel the case complete wrapping up!!!! WOOFREAKINHOO!!!

I called this morning @ 8:30AM and was informed that the IV bill issue would be fixed today.

Keeping my fingeres crosssed.

The AVR still says the same message tho, but my husband called NVC and they say its completed, also they said the same thing about the interview dates, that I should call on the second week of May, and I will no longer get a May date because it's all full!!

At least I was prepared for that answer, since everybody here is in the same situation. :D

Thanks Champi! U r so sweet as usual!! :luv:And the good news keeps on coming! Another operator now informed me that both our AOS and DS 230 are accepted with NO RFE!! (More work for champi hehehe) THANK U GOD!!!! After all the worryinggggggggg and stressing!! :dance: It seems case complete should be coming my way tomorrow or sometime in the next couple of days :) Just woke poor hubby up cz he has been taking this whole CR1 being stuck in AP so hard. I am glad he is finally smiling again :P

atK - I am really very sorry about this, I can't believe NVC can be so careless. I very much hope that they figure out the mess and complete the case very soon. Good Luck!!!

Yes, I have e-mailed the embassy and i am waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully I will hear something from them today or tomorrow. And you are totally right...you get all pumped up because you get approval or case complete or whatever but then you get brought right back down because you have to wait for something else. But we are all nearing the end and then we can be done with this mess...then we will just have to come to VJ to say hi to all our "interview waiting club" members. :)

Keep your heads up...I know the wait is hard but I know it will be well worth it too!

Thanks Amanda and GS. At least I know not to get my hopes up for a May interview, but as of end of next week, June will be "next month" and I can fairly safely assume my husband will be with me in the summer. I want to take him to the 4th of July fireworks as a big New York welcome :P

Thanks Amanda and GS. At least I know not to get my hopes up for a May interview, but as of end of next week, June will be "next month" and I can fairly safely assume my husband will be with me in the summer. I want to take him to the 4th of July fireworks as a big New York welcome :P

Oh I know what you mean Vivian....I was just thinking about my hubby being here for 4th of July this morning! My uncle usually has a big party at his house on the lake and I remember wishing my husband was with me there LAST year....so my prayers are going up for all of us!!!

Vivian, July 4th would be nice, but I am hoping more like our first wedding anniversary in JUNE :crying: I won't be too sad about him missing my upcoming birthday next month but the anniversaryyyyy please GOD make it happen!!

Amanda, keep us posted :) We are hoping the same from our consulate. Hubby just texted me saying they contacted him to come pick up his K3 packet tomorrow so we are hoping that they will be super nice to us and fit our CR1 interview in May as opposed to June as well :star::innocent::star::innocent: They have been very nice and helpful to us so far. I hope we get our wish :star:

Vivian, July 4th would be nice, but I am hoping more like our first wedding anniversary in JUNE :crying: I won't be too sad about him missing my upcoming birthday next month but the anniversaryyyyy please GOD make it happen!!

Amanda, keep us posted :) We are hoping the same from our consulate. Hubby just texted me saying they contacted him to come pick up his K3 packet tomorrow so we are hoping that they will be super nice to us and fit our CR1 interview in May as opposed to June as well :star::innocent::star::innocent: They have been very nice and helpful to us so far. I hope we get our wish :star:

Hey GS I will definitely keep you posted. I wanted my hubby to be here for my birthday in May too, but I don't think he will get here by May 8th! But I hope he can make it near his birthday on June 13th! Oh & GS....does your husband have a US embassy there in Lebanon. I heard that a couple of countries over there, can't remember which ones, have to go to the embassy in Jordan...have you heard that?

Hey Amanda, Yes Lebanon now has a US embassy thank GOD! When i came to America 13 yrs ago I had to go for my CR1 interview in Syria.

Guess what? I think we still have hope to get May interview depending on our consulate. I just got off the phone with NVC and this is wt i was told:

Our CR1 is still in final stages-almost done bas still not complete. I think it's still early in the morning. I will try in the afternoon. The operator I spoke to said once the case complete, they will schedule interview 2nd week of May, so I said if the consulate has a MAY opening and they request the file from u will u send it and is that a possibility and she said yes but the consulate has to ask them for the file. So call/contact ur consulate everyone ASAP!

NVC Journey: Finally OVER APRIL 21, 2009!!! INTERVIEW PASSED 05/12/09; VISA IN HAND 05/20/09

03/05/09: K3 and I 130 both approved! FINALLY after 230 emotionally trying days @ VSC!!

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

03/27/2009 : AOS/DS 230 package sent to NVC; 04/02/2009 : AOS & DS-230 entered into NVC system

04/14/2009 : Found out K3 was forwarded to the consulate in Leb and CR1 stuck in AP; 04/18/09: K3 delivered

04/20/09: WOOHOO CR1 already out of AP; DS 230/AOS accepted with no RFEs!! Sign in failed on NVC payment site.

04/21/09: MAGIC CASE COMPLETE @ 4:30 P.M. THANK U GOD!!!
