Staple or Paper/Binder clips?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if it is ok to Staple papers together (such as applications, bar-coded cover sheet, pay stubs) etc? I was planning to make 3-4 different stapled bundles. Or should I not staple anything and just use paper clips or binder clips? I know I am paranoid, that's why I got this forum to control my paranoia ;)

09/11/2012 - Received a letter saying case transferred Lee's Summit, MO

03/12/2013 - Petitioners' email corrected, Beneficiary's email added

03/14/2013 - AOS fee shows PAID

We used paper clips . A lot of members use ACCO fasteners. Never staple anything.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

For example I stapled the I-864 forms together, but then used paper clips and binder clips to attach everything else. Do not staple the entire package together.

its a good idea not to staple these papers. they dont like it for sure. but just because you stapled the papers would disqualify you or anything...i am sure there are tons of people who staple their paperwork. but, USCIS or NVC or whoever has to deal with it...they should be glad they have a job...thanks to people like you and I :)
