Hello Everyone!

My husband arrived in the US on January 25th on a CR1. How long should I wait before I start to worry that it got lost in the mail? I moved before his interview, but had the correct address with the NVC and on his paperwork that he signed on where the Greencard should be mailed. Where can I check the status?

I would make an infopass appointment at your local office, they should be ble to tell you if the greencard has been issued yet.

Has he got his SSN yet? That arrived quickly for me, but it took three months for the physical green card to arrive (see my timeline below).

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

09/14/2006 - US Embassy interview. Ask Lauren to marry me again, just to make sure. Says Yes. Phew!

10/02/2006 - Fly to New York, EAD at JFK, I'm in!!

10/14/2006 - Married! The perfect wedding day.

AOS Journey

10/23/2006 - AOS and EAD filed

05/29/2007 - RFE (lost medical)

08/02/2007 - RFE received back at CSC

08/10/2007 - Card Production ordered

08/17/2007 - Green Card Arrives
