Hey i had a question about the (AOS) packet if i sent the IRS transcripts what else do i have to send?

Cuz i thought if u send the IRS transcripts you dont have to send anything else but idk, im just making sure. :unsure:

Hey Tayrivers, i have few questions, what docements do we need with DS230 to submit specially for parents case. My parents does not have birth certificate. I email DS3023 to NVC on 05/29/09 and i am still waiting for their reply, i havent hear any thing about that, AOS fees is paid and AOS is already submitted last week with requird document. Now i donot know what is next to do, i called NVC, agent told me they have not recieved confirmation about choice of agent. They told me wait for a week, but i already resent email DS3023 to NVC.

Let me know please what documents i will need to submit and what is next thing to do.

You say your parents do not have birth certificates, so what did you send with the I-130 to establish the relationship between you and your parents?

As for the DS-3032 it can take 10 days or more for it to be accepted, Here is the list of documents they are going to need for the DS-230

Your parents are going to need:

BIRTH CERTIFICATES or EVIDENCE USED FOR I-130

ADOPTION PAPERS

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

MARRIAGE TERMINATION (DIVORCE)

COURT RECORDS

MILITARY RECORDS

POLICE CERTIFICATE

2 PHOTOGRAPHS

PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FOR ALL MARRIAGES

PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE

actually i sent my birth certificate that have my parents name in that, to prove relationship. How can i prove relation ship of me and my parents through my parents birth certificate.

I am asking about my parents birth certificate, do we need that with DS230, i know about my birth certificate that i have to send them including my marriage certificate.

I have applied for my mother and received a checklist letter from NVC via email stating that original certificates for petitioner and benificiary must be submitted to NV before case can be completed. Thing is that they also require that I, petitioner need to submit the original marriage certificate for previous marriage. I do have only a divorce certificate for my previous marriage.

At this point I do not know if NVC will proceed with my case further because I can not provide the previous marriage certificate.

Shall I write a letter explaining why I can not provide the previous marriage certificate? Shall I send the divorce certificate?

You will need to get another original certificate for your previous marriage. They will not accept just the divorce papers.

Thanks for reply. What happens if it is impossible to obtain the previous marriage certificate?

The country where i had the divorce, Court takes the marriage certificate during the divorce process and then after process is completed divorce certificate is issued. The most what I can do, get a lawer in my other home country and get paperwork which will say by that country law to obtain original marriage certificate for previous marriage is not possible and they can provide info that I was married to "name" person on this date.

What is your suggestion? Shall I get that paperwork befor I send all other originals to NVC?

Does anyone have similar situation?

Question on Affidavit of Support:

Husband & I file our taxes married joint. I don't plan to use his income for the affidavit of support. The only concern I have was that last year I only worked 3 months although I made enough of those 3 months. Will I have issue on my previous income tax year? I'm just planning to write an explanation because I just got out of school last year. But my current income should be more than what's needed.

An immigrant visa interview has been scheduled for the applicant at the U.S.

Embassy/Consulate in MANILA on January 8, 2010 at 08:30 am.

Is it really like that? the completion email and interview schedule are in the same notice?
