Try this link: http://egov.uscis.gov Enter your receipt numbers from you NOA. This site provides updates, but what you will be receiving via regular mail will be weeks ahead of updates posted at this site. Basically, the mail is the best updates. Good luck, and be patient (and I'll try to follow my own advice).

Not very accurate, for St. Paul, processing applications for May 19, 2008, we applied a little over two months before that date, wife has already been a USC for seven months.

It's been our experience that the I-751 posted processing date was about 6-7 months earlier than the actual processing date and about that same amount of time later for the N-400. Quite a change since we had panic during the I-751 processing and they could take their sweet time for the N-400.

If we went by the processing date on her NOA, she would have been taking her interview just about now.

What we found most disturbing, is that anyone we contacted for help, in particular with the I-751 is they go by these very inaccurate posted dates, like they are the law.

Wouldn't even bother with these dates, just watch your mail box.

I did too!

The website was never updated, the only entry was that they received my N400, then nothing got updated. All I did was to wait for the mailman every morning and open the door as soon as he put the mail in the mailbox, which scared him all the time. I'm sure that he feels better now that everything is done!

The timelines showed on the website are inaccurate because they show what it was few months ago. What seems to be much more accurate is to look at the timelines from people on Visajourney that have filed to the same office as you, and make an average of them to set your expectations.

I got my fingerprints done faster than others, but I got my interview letter 2 or 3 weeks after most of the people, but then again I got my oath done faster, so it's really an average.
