According to those who support our illegal flood, we "benefited" economically from the illegals being here, so I guess according to that logic, we actually need "more" illegals as this will surely help our economical situation.

I'm sure they think that way. But to be a little bit more honest, lets ID some of those supporters, shall we? A couple of givens: these people are greedy, and prefer to pay less for an illegal to maximize profit. Sounds like a very particular breed of American businessperson to me.

I would agree but to pretend that the support for the -flood from the third world countries- has a lot more support than just Businesses.

The whole of the democratic party (as well as some republics) are on board with it too.

constellation,

I see you like to spit into people's mouth. That's a very bad habit because you have no idea that many of these acomplishments comes from legal alieans, not illegals. You are the one who's playing dumb.

Let me have a chance to spit back into yours. Based on your statements towards me, it can be inferred that you associate legit ones with the illegitimate ones. Do you know your right from your left? I don't think so.

No it's you who confuses the two. No one has an issue with legal immigration. Let alone the migration of professionals. The crisis facing the US is that they have millions and millions of illegals living and roaming in this country. People they know nothing about. People who are working in jobs that Americans desperately need. hence the 8.1% unemployment rate. Whereas as you would have noticed in the article, the Australia government is most likely cutting back on blue collar visas as this will be a hard hit sector there. Effectively reducing the supply to ensure Australians continue to have jobs. That's how a well oiled immigration system works. Where the government gets to decide who comes and who stays rather than foreigners, with the majority of them coming from a handful of nations.

You out of all people should be outraged that while there are many needy people around the world, your Northern South American nations have pushed their way in front of everyone and are now still employed while Americans live in tents.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Getting into that particular aspect (different than the stateside issue, NOT a Party issue) you're talking about socioeconomic pressure that is brought about as a result of foreign relations and our implicit and direct support of foreign economic systems that often leave poor and not so poor people with little choice but to seek greener pastures.

As for the support of who's here and who isn't... is it more an issue of some odd profitability for companies here vs paying a legal, tax-paying population? Sure! There are many in the Party system that are like that. Now claiming that its a particular party's platform on immigration is just plain lame.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Wrong Again! Did I say I support illegals!? I guess you can't read to begin with. You're a misfit republican in this group.

The other Republicans are okay. However, you cannot realize that you're accusing me of supporting illegals. I think you should be ashamed for failing to see it.

Actually you're right and I apologize. You're an advocate of immigration but not illegal immigration.

There is so much garbage posted that it's hard to remember exactly who said what.
