HI AP victoms,

come on lets drop by and update eachother about this week..

how was ur week?

what did u do about AP?

did u call DOS?

email USE?

did u contact ur congrassman?

the frastration of AP is getting on the edge so lets share it here ,,

i will start my self,,i called DOS twice this week and guess what,,APPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP PENDING ..

and when i hang up the phone i was cursing like anyhting on that guy,saying cant u have better words any thing like '' maam ur ap looks like just completed,or at least just say u have been approved''anyhting good will do for me

i swear ,when i call and they put me on hold i keep hearing this voice in my ears and i shiver out of happiness my heart speedes on 100000000000 miles per hours till they back with me and snach that moments of jouys .

i e mailed USE as usual no reply

anyhow,me and my dear husband doing just fine till yesterday ''don't lough we all have one of these days ..

so my dear one come on and share ur week .keep this forum HOT TOPIC always till we say yehhhhhhhhhhh

I called my senators office and 2 hours later was approved, it even showed up on the web site.

Craneman--were you in AP? It doesn't show anything on your timeline.

Fire w Wind--I hate calling DOS--it always makes me burst into tears when I hang up. I don't think I want to talk to them anymore. I e-mailed the embassy last week, still pending. I hate that word. Pending, pending, pending--it is so tiring.

I have emailed the embassy in Islamabad 5 times since December '08 and they have not responded to me, not one time. I call DOS every couple of weeks, but like miamiwife.. I can't take it when all they will say is "AP". It makes me too upset. I used to call every week but now only a couple of times in a month. No one will give me any information. Waheed and I have been in this process for 461 days as of today and we cannot see an end in our sight. I guess "NUMB" is how we feel about, just "NUMB".

I have emailed the embassy in Islamabad 5 times since December '08 and they have not responded to me, not one time. I call DOS every couple of weeks, but like miamiwife.. I can't take it when all they will say is "AP". It makes me too upset. I used to call every week but now only a couple of times in a month. No one will give me any information. Waheed and I have been in this process for 461 days as of today and we cannot see an end in our sight. I guess "NUMB" is how we feel about, just "NUMB".

don't u hate it when they do that to u ?ufffffff i can't tell u what this AP has been like to me ,i try not to call DOS but i cant resist no to ,every day i feel like am getting there, thinking maybe today will be better day and ending up calling them..

This whole process upsets me and after deciding nothing I have done helps I have decided not to do anything but call DOS 2 times a month I read this on the Ukrainian Embassy web site

Please send your inquiry through one channel only. That is, if you yourself contact us, do not also have your attorney and/or member of Congress also contact us with the same inquiry. It takes a great deal of time and effort to respond to these inquiries and processing your case is slowed down if we have to provide the same information more than once. It is your choice as to how you wish to contact us, and if you choose to have your attorney or Congressperson do so, you may, but we simply do not have the staff to answer identical, multiple inquiries as quickly as we would like.

So I thinks it is better just to wait and let them take all the time they need. I am sure he is on AP because he is from Iraq I have never seen anyone else from the Ukraine Embasy be placed on AP

When it reaches the 1 year mark i will try something else not sure what. I am still thinking on that one. The only think I know is that Ukraine leaves a sour taste in my mouth. LOL they only process women in that country and in that Embassy it is really a joke the whole country can be bought for a dollar LOL I just dont know who to give the dollar to

They are not replying to applicants but to congressman/senator

I have emailed 3/4 times no repsonse but each time congressman inquired they did.

I guess if you get congressman/senator involve they dun respond to us!

PS i m stilling waiting on ISL to call us for the passport n expired docs:@@:@:@

ISL responded to congressman monday saying visa is issued n they will contact him soon! i dunno wat 'soon' means anymore! ughh!
