Hey guys...I am starting to get a little worried...we filed our AOS and EAD together and they received them Jan. 14. they sent an RFE on Jan. 17 for more tax info. from my cosponsor. It is now March 14 with no word on if they even received the evidence, and when I call the USCIS they told me there is no way for them to tell if they received it, and to wait 60 days to see! Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them, if it's normal, and if there is a way to find out if they have received it?? thank you all!

We filed our I485 with EAD application last Oct and then they asked for RFE in Nov. We sent our RFE in late Nov and the USCIS website showed that they received it and the case has been resumed on Dec 3rd. Now I've got my EAD card and the NOA for green card interview. I think if they did receive your case at least it shall be showing on your USCIS account.

not necessarily. the status update is not always 'real time'. mine still shows that my case is pending but i have received my approval and even gotten my green card. so unless its 90 days after filing and you havent gotten the EAD, then u can start getting nervous.it'll show up , just dont sweat it.

Have you tried using the RFE option when calling the USCIS? This should by-pass the mis-information specialist and let you talk to someone who can look up your RFE.

After 90 days from the receipt date on your NOA1 you can try an infopass and request an iterim EAD. The RFE will delay your process. The timeline is unique for eadh RFE and case.

By law, USCIS must issue the EAD within 90 days of the date they received it. Sponsorship pertains only to the AOS. If you don't receive a biometrics appointment within 60 days of filing, that's the time to worry.
