Hi everyone, I am a newbie in this forum and I wanted to share my experienced with the USCIS processing time. Me and my husband submitted my documents for my Permanent Residence Card (Green Card) last July 18, 2008 and they sent me a NOA after 2 weeks and seen that they recieved my documents July 25, 2008. After a few more weeks my Biometrics came and I had it done August 13, 2008 at Chula Vista Branch in San Diego. My husband called the USCIS and asked the time line - they said its on a 6 months time line . We waited for another months for my interview until we moved here in Nevada on Nov. 18, 2008 and again we submitted a change address form - we did all the things they want us to do. After 1 week I recieved another NOA on our present address. Its been 7 months now and I haven't got any news from the USCIS yet about when is my interview and stuff. Do you have ny idea that you can share with me here? its kinda upsetting sometimes when We wanted to do stuff yet it wont happen because I dont have my green card yet :crying:

Schedule an infopass.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

I did made an infopass appointment for tomorrow because we really want to get this done as soon we can. hopefully we will hear a good news by then. we will see what will happen. Called USCIS so many times but then they keeps saying the same stuff like what I can read on my Porfolio on USCIS account. Thank you guys for the informations and nice reply.
