Hey everyone!!! We are new also and we think it is great that we have the opportunity to share our experiences and make this process a little bit less stressful. We received our first NOA on March 19. Good luck and blessings to all of us!!!

Please share!

Who wants to hear what happened to me today while I was working in my yard?? I was traumatized and had a near death experience!!

I was working in my yard today, cut the grass, trimmed some things, edged....and it started raining. I could see that my gutters needed cleaning out so I decided to go ahead and do that too, I was already dirty and wet....

I drug the ladder out, got started and was almost finished, I had the last handful of wet leaves in my hands when the whole thing started wiggling. I had picked up a snake in the middle of the last handful of wet leaves and sticks..... I don't know who was scared and surprised more, me or the snake. I was so shocked I couldn't turn loose of him at first and we just kind of stared at each other until I could get it together and let go of it all.

I'm not a scaredy cat or anything but I really don't like snakes. I avoid them. We have an agreement, I leave them alone and they leave me alone. They have clearly broken our agreement and I can promise you this - no more gutter cleaning out for me. I'll hire someone to do it next time.

Missy, see, you should have done my yard instead!

Were you up on the ladder when this happened? I assume you were... damn lucky you didn't get so scared that you fell!

Yes, I was on the ladder and I am very lucky I didn't fall. Glad today is almost over!

Good point Saska+Tim

It was just a small yard snake. We have them and I am used to them, just not so up-close and personal!!
