I am filling out a K-1 visa request and confused on 2 things - The fee is $455? or $131 I can't seem to find a clear answer on this. There are no dependent children accompanying the fiance.

Also, I live in South Dakota and the closest field office to send the packet is in St. Paul but this website listed a California Address for our state - I also see a Nebraska field office. So I am very confused as to where I send the packet.

Please help!!!

Thank you

You are filling out the I-129F petition and not a visa application.

Petition fee is $455 (I-129F)

Visa fee is $131 (paid at time of consulate interview months from now)

St Paul is a local office and has never done I-129F petitions. Lincoln, Nebraska is a regional service center, but does not do I-129F petitions anymore and has not for a few years.... Send it to CALIFORNIA

Best place to find these answers is on the Instructions Page(s) of the I-129f itself.

The filing fee for a Form I-129F is $455.00.

File Form I-129F with the California Service Center if you live in:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.

Mail your Form I-129F package to:

USCIS

California Service Center

P.O. Box 10130

Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-0130

It's $455, NOT $131 as 'pinky pam' stated

The filing fee for a Form I-129F is $455.00.

Thanks for the input, Dan. I do realize this. ;)

However, deleting people's posts often gets me even more PM's to deal with...
