Not to mention the fact that them being "illegal" really plays no part in this story.

Total B.S. If they weren't in the USA to begin with...they wouldn't be committing crimes here. The jails in Houston (and elsewhere in the USA) are full of illegal aliens. Illegal aliens do not go through any background checks or any immigration controls. When the politicians allow a defacto open border and rampant illegal immigration...this is what we get. Along with all the other negative consequences of uncontrolled mass illegal immigration (too many to list in one post).

Now...why don't you give us a disertation about why open borders and illegal immigration is such a positive influence on the USA. I'd love to see your take on that.

You forget they were tricked into coming here by cheapo Americano employers. Their crimes cannot be discussed until Americans themselves are free of crime. Let's not be hypocrites. The thousands of people killed by illegals each year just aren't worth discussing because Americans murder, too.
