I am afraid we wont have time for the interview... does anybody how can he get an extension for the I 129 so it wont be expire? Does he just go to US embassy and ask for the extension? thank you

The US Citizen can request the petition's approval be extended. Just send an email to the Embassy indicating you need a little more time.

Normally, as long as the petition is processing normally the embassy extends the date but I have heard that Jakarta, amoung others, can neglect doing this so it would be wise to request an extension
