Nothing about color, sweetie, rather all about culture. You got to "mind your own business". This means you have to get yourself a job, pay your bills, take care of your family, and respect the rights of people around you to live in a peaceable society. Do these things and you're good enough for me. Fail in any one of those respects, and i will not be friendly with you, though i may be polite while i'm kicking your ####.

the military officer described in the opriginal post is clearly in the wrong in regard to the code of military conduct. he is in service, and as such, does not have the same rights the rest of us enjoy. that being said, the first amendment specifically reserves the right to "the people" to seek redress of greivance against government. that's what we're doing here.
