REO Speedwagon when I was like 6. Uncle took me with his GF... ended up with earplugs in my ears and backstage passes to later hide behind the door while the band came in backtage. Kevin Cronin saw me hiding back there and grabbed me laughing by the neck!! For years I had a 10 x 7 B/W picture of him laughing down at my level as I started to smile and my uncle cracking up at me.

Hey, REO Speedwagon was in Wausau last summer, took my wife to that, we also hit that summer fest or whatever in Milwaukee with like eight different bands blowing your brains out. Counted 52 huge speakers with one band. To me, it's at the point of severe pain, so I have to cup my ears, but my wife loves it. That I don't understand, always telling me to turn down the TV. Honey, the knob already is completely against the stop, would break it off if I tried to turn anymore CCW.

She says I don't have to take her, but just respond, really enjoy the way you shake your butt when hearing that music. Our different taste in music hasn't affected our relationship.
