Dear VJers, I need some serious help here.

My AOS interview is tomorrow and I'm having a hard time explaining my other half how it is going to be like. I think it is better to overdo it and be prepared for any possible question and my husband thinks it is a waste of time and conversation will be about the weather. Please help me explain him with examlples of your own experience or suggestions that AOS interview is different from naturalization interview (thats the only one he has been to and I'm guessing it was quite easy).

Thank you.

We had our interview yesterday and it was a breeze! Pretty much all they asked was questions that we already answered on our I-485 form & how/when we met, and our future plans. They also wanted to know about the wedding and to see pictures of it, and also to see any joint documents. We only had our bank statement and car insurance in both of our names, but that was enough. Relax, it's not as stressful as you think!

It depends on the person interviewing you. They may be very friendly/informal or they may grill you about everything.

Here are some interview questions that have been asked in the past. Some are downright ridiculous.
