Well if you have a mother like mine you sure as hell don't need enemies!!! I smelt something burning and the chap who works here said there was nothing... that chap can pretty much do as he pleases in this house... for what he says counts more than anything I say... god I hate fcuking religion... anyway my charming mother starts screaming "no water ever falls in this house; nothing ever burns in this house" - that I have prevented the house from catching fire was dismissed... so I freaked... basically screamed at the whole fcuking lot of them - told them they are the reason I loathe this country... am still shaking in rage.

i was just thinking that myself ... why do you give these people so much power in your life? at 50 years old do you really need validation from this woman? your mother is not going to change so you really need to adjust your expectations of her. it's not good for your mental or physical health to be shaking in rage over some of these issues.
