I guess maybe after 2 weeks it's best for your petitioner to call Lorraine in the USEM and inquire on what really is they want. No guarantee's they will tell you anything but atleast you are inquiring.

Well i submitted my 221g documents today with my passport.....they told me to enquire after 1 week,,,,but they said generaly it takes 2-3 weeks to process....they said as long as ur documents are completed then it will be fine...and rest it depends upon on ur case....well..i dont knw..how its gonna be,..???? hoping it goes well...

06/02/2009---- INTERVIEW!!!! RECIVED 221g REQUSTING TO SUBMIT MORE DOCUMENTS with PASSPORT

28/02/2009---- Submitted 221g Documents with passport

18/03/2009---- Got passport without visa stamped on it

19/03/2009---- Called DOS and they said embassy is asking for my daughter's Birth cetificate and Passport

01/04/2009---- 1 month of AP!! - NO NEWS--- from embassy---called DOS No news---_STILL WAITING FOR ANOTHER 221g FROM EMBASSY!!!!!!

STILL UNDER AP!!!!! very Frustated

07/04/2009---- Case tranfered to FPU(fraud prevention unit)

15/06/2009---- Embassy asked me to submit my passport-----confused??

i HEARD THEY TAKE 2-3 WEEKS...IM JUST CONFUSED....PLS..HELP ME...MY WIFE IS IN HOSPITAL...NOBODY IS THERE TO TAKE CARE OF HER....I JUST NEED TO KNW...SO THAT I GO TO MY WIFE..ASAP....

There are really no guarantees when it comes to a 221G. I have one of the dreaded "Wait till you hear from us" check mark. But my case is different from yours, my fiancee just needs a letter form the NBI. NBI letter of explanations and visa approval average anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. Hang in there and I hope and pray for fast and worry free processing for you.

It doesn't go back to the NVC for AP/AR. . .where it goes depends on the type of AP. . .if they've already requested your passport, then they are close to done and the case is staying at the consulate. . . .

They usually call to tell you that your case is complete at your embassy once the ap is finished.

My husband country the called him in for a 2nd interview which still left us in limbo. Have you added your name to the AP tracker? AP Tracker Forum

You can also view the average wait time in AP for your country.

This is just another part of the process in your country. It is hard to hear at first, but accept the process and be patient. There is a light at the end of the tunnel without train tracks.

It will be a month for me too in 2 weeks time since next week is the 16th. Tired of waiting but have patience it will come soon don't know when..We are put in limbo.

Jan.7,2010- AOS packet received signed by Chyba

Jan.10,2010- Notice receipt from USCIS

Jan.13,2010- check has been cashed

Jan.14,2010- NOA1 received (hard copy)

Jan.23,2010- Biometrics Appt.received in the mail dated Jan.14,2010

Feb. 1, 2010- Biometrics appointment at 8a.m.

Feb.9,2010 - touched

March 2,2010- AP approved

March 9,2010- Hard copy received

March 12, 2010- I-485 receipt notice for interview

March 18,2010- received letter for initial interview

April 19, 2010- 8 :15 A.M INTERVIEW DATE ( APPROVED 5min.Interview)

APRIL 20, 2010- USCIS website updated card production ordered
