Lee, i am just trying to figure out what to do. i am going crazy soon as the first of july hits. because i am off friday and monday and to think about on monday it will already be the 6th of July. but i have so many obstacles in my way with my kids and she is on her own on these interviews and her english is excellent but she doesn't think it is. So she tells me she is scared she wont understand the interviewer. who knows? so she has me going nuts over here.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the congrats! It's exciting. I called NVC last night, and they said they have the petition and that "probably within, well, yeah, probably in about 2 weeks, I'd say) they'll be forwarding it on to embassy. Hopefully, that was conservative estimate.

I have a question--do we need to send NOA2 hardcopy to SOs for interview? He already has I-134, employer letter, fiance letters, etc in hardcopy, so it would be the only thing I'd have to physically mail him. I'm hoping that scanning/emailing is okay.

I'm happy to see that so many have interview dates within the next few months!!! Good luck to all.

Chelsea and Arturo

2-14-2009: I-129F mailed to VSC

2-18-2009: NOA1

I currently in the process of moving/fixing up my new place. So if I can finish everything by end of July, then I will be shooting for around August 3rd.

Rich why is she worried???? There is an option to have the interview in Russian also. In Ukraine, there are 3 options. Russian, Ukrainian and English. Tell her that there is nothing to worry about.

Roman I have told her a 100 times that it is just a formality. she still is nervous as anything. i can't go there because as part of my divorce decree i have my kids for the summer. then on August 5th and 9th is my kids birthdays. So i am trying to make her understand that i need to stay here which she is ok with. But she is very nervous..

She might be worried about the interview, that's understanable. But she should not worry that she will not understand the interviewer. They have somebody that speak her native language. So no worries.

it's soo goood to see everyone getting their interview dates! i can't wait for our petition to get out of AP so we can finally get started with the documents.

Start gathering docs now. Sometimes it takes a while. Especially overseas.

Wow...so many with their interview dates already! I should know ours hopefully by next week, Pat has some questions on his forms in Packet 3 and spent all morning trying to call the Consulate with no luck. He'll either email them tonight when he gets home or call in the morning.

We wanted our interview to be in August anyway so this works for us.

Rich - Not able to find anyone to watch the kids for you so you can go?

Roman - Wow...very soon for you!!

Lee - hehe...Even when i can sleep in, I usually don't. Force of habit now to get up early!

And for you guys who don't want to go shopping...pay my way to where you are and I'LL go for you...hehe!!

Hugs, Liz

I know, I still cannot believe that in a little over 2 weeks I will know for sure that everything is finally finished and all I have to do is buy her a plane ticket. Still up until her arrival I will be busy with buying stuff for our new place.

Liz thats actually a very tempting idea. I have made arrangements to go with a girlfriend of mine, who shockingly loves to shop. I know what you're all thinking where did I ever find such a rare woman to help me.

As for the interview for Oksana she is already getting nervous. I am trying to handle all of her travel and lodging. She hasn't been to Moscow since she was a small girl. Luckily the people over on the Russian forum have been very helpful. She can do the interview in either language, but she is just nervous, because thats what happens to people that don't know you are deciding your future. I just tell her to relax it'll be fine.
