So here is the story. Medical is set for July 13. Interview is on July 14. And most likely date of entry in New York is August 3. Things are definitely looking good. One more month to go.

Lee as far as I heard embassy in Russia is working really quickly. So before you know it your lady will be in the states.

Should you be scheduling the interview one day after the medical? I was told that our medical would take about a week due to the medical package being put together and sent to the Embassy.

In Ukraine the medical is done in the morning and in the afternoon (3pm), Marina has to go and pick up the results. It sucks that for Maria it would take a week.

Yeah...she doesnt pick up anything. Everything is delivered. Medical to the Embassy and Visa via courier.

In Ukraine, Visa is also delivered via courier. Luckily medical results could be picked up the same day.

In Russia the medicals are delivered as well. Its a major inconvenience, but what can you do.

Roman I am very happy for you that it is going to be so soon. I hope you right about the Embassy in Russia.

We are scheduling the medical in the next week or two...they are good for one year so we can get it all done before the embassy get the packet from NVC. We should be in a position to just schedule the interview when the papers get there.

I just went and looked on the Embassy's website. They are good for a year, but the doctors are all in Moscow which is a four hour flight from her home. It says the medicals take two days to complete so she is just going to have to do it when she gets there. Oh well.

Hi Mini! we have been approved and haven't received my NOA2 hardcopy yet. I called NVC and we are in AP. So no package for us either. Have you called NVC to check the status?

I called the National Visa Center at 603-334-0700 and they were much more helpful than any call I've ever made to USCIS. They looked up the case by the case number and told me where the packet was.
