i ws readin yr thread but dint msg u earlier..

can u tell me what is AOS bill..

my case ws approved on 23 jan .. and as i hv lawyer i dont hv to fill 3032 right??

now i hv another question , when should i send my DS-230 part 1 and when can we send I-864 ? is thr any cut off dates for tht ?

as it is taking longer time for geting PCC..

we are planning to go ahead with I-130...

i'd to get four clearances one passport clr. and three PCC surat,bharuch and karnataka...

had to face problems in bharuch one insane officer is handling this process thr...but now got everything ...

we will submit everything (DS-230 , PCC, and I-864)

so i asked abt AOS bill... whats that? do we need to pay if we wll proceed with i-130 route?

after submitting DS-230 part one whts theh next procedure

my case ws approved on 23 jan .. and as i hv lawyer i dont hv to fill 3032 right??

now i hv another question , when should i send my DS-230 part 1 and when can we send I-864 ? is thr any cut off dates for tht ?

as it is taking longer time for geting PCC..

we are planning to go ahead with I-130...

i'd to get four clearances one passport clr. and three PCC surat,bharuch and karnataka...

Any idea how long they make you wait to give you the visa once you interview at the consulate? I believe you get the K3 visa within 48 hrs but how about CR1, is it possible they will say you passed your interview but you won't get your visa for another 3-6 mons or more??

I would much rather go the CR1 route as well but scared it would mean many more months of waiting away from my husband :unsure:

So before you send any of this information in. Have you paid the AOS bill?? The petitioner of the I-130 should have received this in the mail from NVC. Once you pay the bill and the status shows paid, then you can submit the I-864.

To submit the DS-230, you need to email/mail the DS-3032 choice of agent form. Once you do that, they will generate the Visa Application Fee, you need to pay that. Once the Visa Bill fee status shows paid, then you can submit the DS-230.

Unfortunately there is no way of checking your status update online..I wish they did have that system. The only way to check is through phone!

When you do call, make sure to speak to an operator. The AVR doesn't always have the most up to date status on your case.

Update...My wife was able to submit the application for the Passport PCC today, I should have it by thursday, and then off to NVC with the DS-230 :)

Update...My wife was able to submit the application for the Passport PCC today, I should have it by thursday, and then off to NVC with the DS-230 :)

Hi Today my Fiancee received a packet from the Peruvian embassy, it had an affidavit of support in it. Is that normal? Aren't I the one who is supposed to fill out the affidavit of support since I am already working in the United States? Did anyone else have this problem?

I´m already against the next war.
