No worries... this is normal. We also got transferred to CA and a bit later received that same email notification. It simply means that the case is now transferred. For most cases it appears that anyone transferred to CA gets approved without any interview. So i pray all goes well. We already got approved and my wife received her green card.

Also don't worry if it takes a while, we got transferred to CA on July 30th and her application did not get approved until January 8th. It took longer for us than for some people which got me a bit worried for some time, but in the end we also got approved without any interviews.

ok thanks so much! its somewhat a relief, i will never be fully relieved until i actually get the GC LOL! but your post reassures me somewhat - THANK YOU!

congratulations on your wife's GC, and yes, hopefully all goes well too!

hi, it's just my assumption that your case was transferred to your local office and not at CSC because the email did not specify that it was transferred to CSC.

oh sorry i didn't know about that but anyway, i have read some cases here in VJ before wherein their case was transferred to CSC then it was transferred to local USCIS office. i am not really sure though....like I said it was just an assumption. i am not on that stage yet so i really don't know. good luck and God bless

We currently have the same message on our AOS, but the case is still at CSC not local office, I had that confirmed with a phone call to USCIS. So good chance that yours is still at CSC, but won't hurt to call and find out. Keep in mind CSC is also considered a office.

Ex:

This is to advise you that in order to speed up processing we have transferred the above case to the following USCIS office for processing:

-- California Service Center, 2nd Floor, 24000 Avilla Road, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-0111

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

I got the exact same email about 2 1/2 weeks after we were transferred to CSC (actually, I don't think we got the email; we just got our online status changed to that). I think it changes from "you have been transferred" to "received and pending at the office to which it has been transferred" when the people at CSC open your file and put it into their system. It does not mean you've been transferred back.
