Only if I could be at Vuon Tao Dan or Vuon Hoa on Nguyen Hue Street right now! Tet in Houston is only about 5% as exciting as in Saigon, for me personally, with only a day off from work and going to Chua Vietnam on Synott street today. The Tet festival will be on Feb. 07 at Viet Hoa supermarket, which I don't get it. Why not this weekend? Who would still think about Tet on the 13th?

Only if I am in VN now, next to mine lovely wife celebrating new year with her. Is the BOMB. I am from southern CALI. Tet here is fun, but I have to work today, not much fun at all for me. :crying: How do you guy celebrating your new year?

Is that Viet Hoa market off of Scarsdale?

Viet Hoa is on the southwest side of beltway 8.

My wife and I went to a local Buddhist temple and helped the kitchen cooking the meal they served for lunch on New Year's day. Pretty much the same idea people volunteer at the Thanksgiving Holiday Feast.
