Basically we had a wonderful time laughing and talking with the IO everything was so informal and it was cool, yet in the end of the interview she told us she has a concern about our age difference which is (10 years) my wife older

anyways she said (the IO) I need to look more into your paper work before I decide and let you know in few weeks, and IF i approve it then bla bla bla about the removal of condition

so what that all mean ? I am worried

Age difference is a red flag to them. If you guys are for real it shouldn't be a problem.

You'd think they'd do something about large age difference at the embassy interview and not wait for AOS!

Of course! No one is arguing about that. But if a woman is older it's a little different to them then a guy being older.

Of course! No one is arguing about that. But if a woman is older it's a little different to them then a guy being older.

Many of the fraudulent relationships from the middle east and North Africa involved couples where an older woman is used to get LPR status. Deviations from cultural norms are always red flags. A ten or even twenty or more year age difference is of little concern when the man is older, as that's normal in pretty much any culture.

Unless there's really something amiss, I would expect the OP's LPR status to be approved shortly though. Turf wars between USCIS and Consular Services are legend though.
