Our attorneys sent us the new number placed on our Fiancee visa, can anyone tell me where you look to track the visa and where about after it leaving the NVC

No tracking of a K-Visa while it is at NVC, and if you have a MNL number it is no longer at MVC it is on it's way to the consulate.

I didn't realize that. So once you receive your embassy Code MNL (or in my case MOS) it has been moved on already?

No, it has not, necessarily, been moved.

The moment your file reaches NVC, a new number is issued and it's the one that starts with whatever the abbreviation for your embassy is. MNL is Manila, ZGB is Zagreb, etc.

So, unfortunately, the fact that you have the new number does not mean a thing.

You can contact the NVC and speak to an operator to find out if/when the petition was sent to the consulate. You can use the DHL Tracking by Reference with the pattern EXP 2009 JAN 04A (For a petition that was mailed out January 4, 2009... change this information to match your date) This will give you an idea of when your petition reaches the consulate.

Right because me and a couple others have our K visa case#'s for NVC and we have not been transferred to the embassy yet. Just because you get the case# for your K visa means nothing.
