Hello Friends!!! another week gone and here we are...

This weekend I am visting my Hubby in NYC... so I am estatic :dance::thumbs:

Hope you guys had a great week, even though none of us got approved.

This week was a week of Highs and lows for me. I got a promotion on Monday and then 10 ppl (friends & colleagues) I have worked with for over 8 yrs were let go on wednesday :crying:

I hope the upcoming week will lift our spirits with come great approvals from VSC.

What is everyone doing this weekend???

"Fine" = we use this word to end argument and discussion, you need not to further communicate or explore, you need be shut up, go away for awhile or face the evil eye.

"five minutes" = a half hour, you need to check fluids in car, wash windows, smoke cigarette, BE PATIENT. tell her she look nice when she finally does come out.

"nothing wrong with me"= Shitz about to hit the fan. Be very nice and diffuse the situation. Or go to your man room play music let her brood. bring flowers or something later.

"Go Ahead"= Dont do whatever it is. this is a DARE. You do it you might face injury or jail.

"Whatever"= this is classic for ** you.or ** off. back away slowly and go about your business.

Sighing= she is not bored, she is wondering why she wasting time on you. divert her to something pleasant, maybe a joke or something happy like a puppy.

"thats ok"= she buying time to plot some revenge or pay back

'thanks" say your welcome. "thanks alot" dont say anything she thinking you a big azzhole @ present time

"dont worry about it" "i got it or will do it" = dont let her do it she pizzed because you forgot to do one of your man jobs. say sorry and do your man job, bring a gift.

Life always looks bright when we get to spend time with our loved ones :D

Aruba Dolphin...what can I do for you hon? We gotta figure out something you can do to take your mind off of everything...

Is it still warm enough for the beach? When I went in December, it was warm enough to still go in the water (that was a couple of years ago). Maybe take a swim...some physical activity to release some of that pent up energy. What do you think?

Yeah that sounds like a good ideas

Yeah everyday of the year it is good to go to the beach unless it is raining lots

we only get down to 29C during the day now

I have no experience in this topic :unsure:

My husband's ex has no communication with me or him for that matter. They live in completely opposite ends of the world LOL. The kids are grown so he speaks to his kids directly.

Me, I have no communication with my ex-husband whatsoever. Also on opposite ends of the world. So I have no idea what is going on his life nor does he have any idea about mine.

There are others that have had problems with crazy ex's. I'm hoping someone else can shed some light. :huh::secret:

He is my first husband I am his second wife, he has a step kid he calls his own but has no rights to him

she uses the boy to get money out of him and when she doesn't get her way

she says he will never see him again

the kid also fed up with his mom being so irrational

she wants him (my husband back)

hope i spelled yr name correctly.. or correct me if i m wrong..

u hv nice idea to keep in touch.. we hv same problem, due to time difference we cant talk more than 45 min. but we talk everyday anyhow. if he has night shift i just write mail n he read it uring night.. or just i buy a card n post it on his work place without informing him , kindda surprise for him. After all tht still sometimes disappointments surrounds us like darkness right???? .. i just read his previous mails or go on 123greetings.com n send some e-card of i love you or i miss you... :star: .

Yes, I read his old emails too LOOOOL Sometimes when I talk to him, I read his emails to him and say, "You used to be so romantic, what happened?" LOL and I tease him. Then he says, "You're mine now and you're stuck with me." LOOOL With time, after you're married, you realize that the things they DO are more important than the things they SAY and WRITE. I know from one look that my husband loves me. That says alot.

Yes, every day is a disappointment for everyone waiting. I just promised not to complain about it and since I stopped complaining I feel better. Another day, another week, have all passed. On the bright side...at least 9 months have passed now and I'm 9 months closer to my approval, right? :blush:

It's the weekend and so I like chatting here with my fellow waiters. Usually I take the weekend to visit with my brother and my neice. I also take the time to catch up on my house cleaning. I go shopping. I do some cooking. I call my long distance friends and catch up with them. I invite my best friend over for coffee and listen to her complain for a change (gives me a chance to keep my mouth shut about my own problems). Then I give her advice from my own past experiences, tell her how much I love her, and we indulge in something sweet. LOL

Honestly, I like my weekdays better. I stay more busy. I study during the weekdays so I don't have to deal with it on weekends. CE dinners and stuff are always during the weekdays. I get to catch up with my working friends on the weekdays too, and we'll meet after work and discuss what is going on in each other's hospitals LOOOOL A nice way of saying we gossip! :whistle:

in week days i study for exam and take care of my two pets.

initially when i left job i used to complain a lot and tellin him to tell lawyer to do fast.. lol.. and after a long days often at night tears were rolling outta my eyes :crying::cry: suddenly a vaccum created in life but now i m ok with my schedule. my PC is only friend which connects me to outside world in week days.

though weekends are okey now.. i dont complain anymore and i only joke tht i m not comin before april.

its now 11 months of my wedding, and i met m hubby 7 months back. he cant come due to job. and i cant get visitor visa and go thr. :cry:

my hubby loves me a lot but he dont write ny romantic mails and all.. but i know he cares for me a lot now he is preparing for my admission and waiting for approval more eagerly than me ....

Yeah, I work. I think I would go crazy if I just sat at home. I would be so bored! It's good to spend time with friends and family. Even to just leave the house and go outside is good. Sometimes sitting alone and thinking of everything will just drive me crazy.

LOL I also thought, back many months ago, that my husband might be here by March or April. Now I guess I'll be lucky if he gets here before the end of the year.

But what can we do? Nothing. Just wait...and wait...and wait... Everyone tells me, "You are not going to have your husband with you until Allah (God) wants him with you." Who am I to argue with God's will??? So until that time I'll just be a K-3 leftover LOL :lol:

Our time is coming Narina....we have to believe that. hopefully the coming week will be our time?? fingers crossed.

We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary in Dec...so really we have been waiting for over 3 yrs. The wait seems never ending :(

Clearly she is emotionally blackmailing your hubby! Sucks that ppl can be so conniving :angry:

I guess it must be harder for you knowing you are miles away and not able to do anything about it
