I just called the NVC to check on my case status they say something is missing or incomplete but I dont undestand how. I know I did everything right. So I wanted to ask if there is something you have to do different if your spouse has a travel visa? Do they need to list this visa number? or give a copy of it or something? I saw on the DS-230 something about a A number or something like that and I called and asked an operator and they said no he dont need it. But was there anything I should of done cause of the travel visa? Thanks!

Did the operator tell you what number needs to be corrected? I got an RFE, too, and they told me which number I had to correct but I had to wait for the letter for the instructions.

At this point, I think you should just wait to get their letter to see what kind of information you'll need to give them.

Hi,

I am in the same situation. Just called NVC and they have an RFE for me. What could be the problem? Did you find out what your problerm that caused the RFE? Please let us know.

We had the same situation. An automatic system informed that some info was missing or incomplete, that the NVC sent RFE.

But after we talked with operators twice we found out that everything was OK that they had not sent anything to us. That it was a mistake in the system!!!!

Finally, our case was complete on JUNE 15!!!!! Can't believe it

Please, do not worry.

Talk to an operator and find out do they really miss something

The RFE finally came in the mail today. So far we have recieved two RFE's for the DS-230. One of them was just cause we had to wait for the papers to arrive here from my husband. But what was wrong was we didnt send any copies of his passport being renewed and forgot to include from age 16 in addresses. So I hope we can get this turned in and CASE COMPLETE by July 1!
