Does my 9 year old son have to be present for the medical and the interview? And i dont think he does but does my fiance have to be at the interview?

To the best of my knowledge from my own experience my OH couldnt be present at the interview in London - his absence wasn't questioned at all. It is possible the situation may have changed since my interview in 2007 - it might be worth putting this in the UK forum to see what others dealing with London can confirm.

I know it is recommended that both parties are present for interviews where the country is considered a high fraud country.

Whilst in other parts of the world Petitioners are required to attend the interview, in the UK this is not a requirement.

The interesting thing about this post is that the OP doesn't specify whether or not he/she is the petitioner or beneficiary, so all people answering the question of whether or not the fiance has to be at the interview don't even know WHO the beneficiary is!

If the OP is the beneficiary then their fiance doesn't need to attend the interview. If the OP is the petitioner, then of COURSE their fiance needs to attend the interview, assuming the interview is for the beneficiary themselves...
