My fiance was given the K-1 Visa a few weeks ago, and is getting ready to move to the U.S. I'm looking into how to apply for a SSN, and I keep seeing I-94 come up as something he'll need to get the SSN. What exactly is the I-94? Thank you!

arrival/departure card that a non-immigrant fills out on the aircraft and presents to the border officer upon arrival

YMMV

The I94 will be stapled into his passport upon entry into the US. Do not lose this- it's very important and you will need it again. Congrats and good luck!
