thank you guys so much. now its time to start the nvc journey. still confused whether to go for k3 or cr1. heard cr1 takes about 2 to 3 months at nvc itself and after that about a month at the consulate. Any suggestions.

Please answer to this question please.....

which one should be taken?

How long does it usually takes for AOS and EAD? I am really bored and exhausted to live a life without my sweet hubby...at the same time I am scared to deal with USCIS once again...who deals with the AOS and EAD?is it VSC? Who will deal with mine if I live in Arakansas? Is it VSC again or TSC?

Sonia(too much confused...)

Sonia,

If you post this question in "adjust status (greencard) general discussion" forum I am sure someone will answer your question more in detail then people here on this thread. But to answer your question , As far I know since you live in arkansas AOS and EAD will be process by Anchorage AK Field Office.

AK is Alaska and Anchorage is in Alaska. But if this were true there is a chance things would go blazingly fast there. I can't imagine too many immigrants ending up in Alaska

06/12/09 - POE at Newark (K3)

07/01/09 - I-485 and I-765 mailed

07/06/09 - USCIS received (date on NOA1)

07/13/09 - NOA1 received for both I-485 and I-765 !

08/08/09 - Biometric appointment

08/25/09 - AOS interview letter notice date

09/24/09 - AOS interview
