Igor's List?

I am waiting for our NOA2 and everyone keeps saying look on Igor's list? That is depressing? I was hoping for like late Jan or early Feb and we are like 290 or something like that?? How do I read this and is it accurate?

What I have been told about Igor's list and was true for me is that when you are less than 100 you can be approved at any time. I don't know if that varies from VSC to CSC. I did a K-3, there are not as many people on Visa Journey doing that so there is less data so I actually always looked at where I would be on the K-1 list and one day I looked and was 90 and the next day without any touches I was approved. So hopefully that helps.

You'll see your name on it as long as you've updated your timeline

It's not a certainty but it helps give you an idea of where you are in the official queue.

Ok so if you are like in the 200's how accurate is this? And do people update often? I just think this is depressing b/c there are people at the top who still haven't been approved. This is just confusing! Can someone explain if this is really accurate??? Thanks!
