Question about UCIS Touches

6 posts in this topic

Question for some of you. I know that if you register your email on the UCIS website and you see the last updated date you know you have been touched.. But I see on some people signatures that they touch their case more than one time in one day. How do you know they touched your case several times in one day?

That's really not possible - only the date changes and that can't happen on the same day.

Taken from the Link

"That’s one of the reasons why you might see that your application was "touched" several times on a given day but no change in status. The adjudicator began working it (touch), went to lunch (touch), came back from lunch (touch) and finished reviewing it and sent it off to be processed (touch). Its touched when it goes back into the queue and etc... "

Yes I know it is possible but how do I know that my case has been touched more than once in one day?

You don't and won't - best to not micro-analyze it that closely anway....

For those that insist, I do believe OSRA (Obsessive Screen Refreshers Anonymous) still holds support meetings... (am no longer an active member)
