I received an RFE Friday the 19th, Monday the 22nd I sent in the requested information. That's exactly one week ago. On my case online it says that my case is still on hold and they are still waiting for me to send the requested evidence back. I had expected by now for them to have received it and resumed my case. So I was just wondering, for anyone else who had an RFE, how long after you sent it back in, did they take to resume your case, or when did it show online that they resumed? I'm sure the holidays have delayed a lot, I'm just worried about my letter to be lost in the mail, since of all the holiday mail traffic.

And something else, I can only see my case status of the I-485... I can't see anything about the I-765 or I-130. What does this mean and is this normal?

My timeline:

11-20-2008: AOS (I-485 & I-130) Package sent.

11-24-2008: Package received at 1.36pm and signed by JCHYBA.

12-04-2008: AOS Check was cashed!

12-19-2008: Received RFE and another letter for biometrics

I've read somewhere that the process will resume within 1-2 weeks. Anyways, I can only see my I-485 and I-765 online and my I-130 and I-131 is not available online.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

They only worked two days last week, and have another day off this weeks. So give them until next week to even open your mail. You'll never find the I-130 status as it's not relevant to anything they are doing, even though they do require it and charge yet one more fee. It is just part of your application for AOS. Anyway, the online status system has not been functioning very well for more than a year and so it is unreliable in many cases. Good luck!
