For those who have gone through this process I need help please... My husband and I were married on December 20 and we are now ready to start the next step.

I know he needs to apply for a work permit. Is the form I-765 that I am filling out?

Also to remove the conditions is it form I-485 I file? Or is it form I-751?

Are the forms also filed together? I read up on what to do a little, but I am confused and could use help from those who have gone through the process already. Please help me out if you can. Thank you so much!

Next step is Adjustment of status, I-485.

Attach an I-765 and I-131 to get work permit and advance parole for use while waiting for AOS (Green-card) to be approved.

Removal of conditions comes 2 years after getting conditional green-card from AOS.

I have looked at that numerous times, but get a little confused. I guess I need a whole day when I can sit down with my husband and start getting it together. Since Christmas is coming up and I also have to work we won't have time this week. Plus we are still waiting for our marriage license. Does it matter if this process is not sent in until next week?

I have seen the 1st and 2nd link numerous times and will look at the 3rd link when sitting down with my husband. For the filling fee I know it cost $1,010, but do I also have to pay the $300 and something for the working permission too?

No Just $1010, this fee covers I-485, I-765 and I-131

The best way to handle this is to treat the applications as separate, Start with I-485 + I-864 and get it all prepared, the prepare the I-765 packet, and finally the I-131 packet, if you wish to travel while AOS is being processed.

Then place the 3 applications in same envelope and send to the Chicago PO box.

Note do not share any evidence among the applications.

A license to marry is not evidence a marriage took place. What you need is a marriage certificate. A marriage license is something you need before you get married and marriage certificate is only available after. Don't confuse the two. In some States a marriage certificate and marriage license are on the same form but are executed at different times.
