does anybody know a pill or medication to delay menstrual period?

Hi to ALL Female VJ'ers..

Does anybody know of a pill I can take to delay my menstrual period? It may sound funny cause a lot of people would want otherwise.

It's because I'm going for my medical on Dec 22 and 23. Then my expected menstrual period would be on those days.

I read a post here that you should never come to your medical if you have your period.

Please?

Can anybody help me out?

I'm beating the deadline cause my interview would be on Jan 9.

I don't wanna waste my precious plane ticket which cost 8000+ by just going there and do nothing because of my period..

i was in the same spot!!! i was using a pill too, prescribe by my obgyn before but i forgot the name. i dont have a choice talaga back then so it helps me a lot... but i know some pill that can delay the period. i was using diane before and also althea (by trust)... try baka maka tulong good luck.!!! God bless

was in the same situation, i used althea contraceptive pills prior to medical. kapamilya sya ng trust pill na brand... used it a week prior to medical then i stopped taking it the day we left manila, after interview. it is over the counter so you won't have problem buying it... just remember, contraceptive pills or any pill for that matter have different effect for different people, i didn't notice any side effect ng althea sa akin before but then one week mahigit ko lang din naman ginamit so ok lang.

to add up, the thing w/ the pills i mentioned or other regular pills, is that theres an irregularities for first time users. so it may or may not help stopping the flow... then by 2-3 months, medyo mag a-adjust na then you can control the flow by then... i took a pill a week before my interview (just cant remember the name sorry talaga but it was almost P100 each) but it helped for me a lot, the day after my interview i stopped taking it and an hr later balik yung period ko. lol... i wish you luck talaga.

try mo lang, what are you planning to get.. yasmin is good but expensive, althea is a cheaper alternative sa mga pampabeauty na contraceptive pills.

sa first time users, meron minsan spotting. minsan wala, depende talaga sa reaction ng body mo.. if you want to go for it, do it today and don't wait any longer or else baka magstart na period mo and pills won't help stop it when it has started.

dbears is right!!! better take it ASAP. diane is also for the skin daw, pampa ganda... i used it twice but my new obgyn said althea has the same effect and way cheaper (P230) compared to P500 for diane
