Hello everyone... Happy Holidays...

i just want how will all of my documents be arrange.. i mean is there a certain arrangement..

will the console be so strict? i am [preparing everything now...

NVC Received : 2008-12-04

Interview Date : 2009-01-08

Visa Received : 2009-01-20

US Entry : 2009-02-20

Marriage : 2009-04-18

Hello!

Arrange all those important papers of you personally,so with the documents your fiance will be sending you.If i were you, i will read the the procedures here, you will learn alot.

I don't think there is a certain arrangement to be followed for your documents.Just organize them in a way that it will be easy for you to pull out when ask of certain document.And also remember that the opening on the glass window between you and the pre-screener and CO is a small so try to make folders or photo albums not too thick.Good luck and Maligayang Pasko!!! :thumbs:

Some info is outdated but the arrangement and desk slot hasn't changed!

Hello, I am new here. I have applied for K1 Visa for my Fiance who lives in India. Her interview is in January at the Mumbai US Consolate. I have read in a few forums that the Consolate asks to see Original Documents, is that also including original documents I sent with the I-129F Package to USCIS? I have not received that package back from them and I was under the influence that NVC sends the original package to the consolate.

The Consulate will have the entire original file on hand when the interview takes place. You will never get this back to keep.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

The Consulate rarely requires original documents from the petitioner.. if they do they will indicate so... but it is not the norm because the approved petition typically has all they need...
