Congrats JIM & A.D and JimandChristy :thumbs: Cant believe your lawyer JIM & A.D :bonk: does she know what 'thought' did? I was even concerned about your NOA1 when I looked at your time line.

Well we're now together on the NOA2 boat with Xaenyth and loads of other magic people. Lets all have patience and enjoy the ride into the new year!

They cashed the check!!! I'm SO happy since I was the last person who sent in my packet to get NOA1. Now I must wait until the image posts to get that blessed number from the back. Whew! I was getting concerned.

Question: For NOA1 date on the timeline, do you put the date they cash the check or the date you receive the notice in the mail?

November 19, 2007 - Met

November 25, 2008 - Engaged

November 25, 2009 - Married

November 24, 2011 - Baby due!

They cashed the check!!! I'm SO happy since I was the last person who sent in my packet to get NOA1. Now I must wait until the image posts to get that blessed number from the back. Whew! I was getting concerned.

Question: For NOA1 date on the timeline, do you put the date they cash the check or the date you receive the notice in the mail?

I put the date that I received it in the mail. A lot of folks add a side note saying when the check was cashed.

Welcome Xaenyth!!, Yes, now goes the nail bitting process. :)

I know what you mean, i was checking my bank account everyday before my check was cashed. Now i'm waiting to receive my NOA1 in the mail. The last time i checked the USCIS site i was touched on 12/2/08. Just hang tight, your check will be cashed soon.

Count us in!!

Now what are the preparations your having guys while waiting for the NOA2? thanks! Happy New Year!!!

Yah, now that i know for sure my NOA1 has been received, i'm just going to seriously start filling out my I-134, I'm also trying to wait till after i file my tax return for 2008 before i request for my tax transcripts. Then i got to prepare a sample letter for my job so they'll know what i need for my employment letter. That's probably all for now, other than just waiting.......

Thanks for the warmth welcome JIM & A.D. How about me being the beneficiary what do i need to prepare...mmmnn maybe i need to prepare myself to be more and more patient :whistle:

I know patience goes a long way. :D I'm trying to practice more of that myself.

You being the beneficiary, I dont really know what else you can do to prepare for your NOA2, i'm not sure what the embassy in Philippines requires, but maybe someone in here can give you some feedback or you can post that question in the phil. forum.

All my fiance is doing now is waiting..., getting his medical & vaccine records together and trying to figure out which paper work he need to get from his college, so he can get his credits converted when he comes to the states.

NatPatBen Congrats. I used the date that i received it in the mail also.
