Can someone tell me how I go about cancelling the I-129F petition that I sent in? I sent it in September, and received the NOA1, but have not yet received the NOA2. My boyfriend and I have decided not to get married at this time, and I do not want this pending petition to hurt his visa chances later. Thank you!

Call USCIS and ask.

Then compose a letter requesting it withdrawn, note petition number on it and send it to the service center handling the I-129F, either Vermont of California.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
