Hi,

My wife and kids have their interviews scheduled for Jan 22 in Tukwila, WA which is close to Seattle which is about 150 miles from home. We live in Vancouver, WA which is just across the river from Portland, OR. There is a USCIS office in Portland which is about twelve miles from our house. Does anyone know if it is possible to change which office we have the interview at? Because immigration is a federal issue and not a state issue it seems that it shouldn't matter what state we live in but that might just be to logical.

Thanks,

Zak

Isn't it that not all USCIS offices are conducting interviews? some are support centers that do biometrics but not for interviews..like here in santa ana, CA. The place where I had my biometrics done is not the place where we will be interviewed. But luckily its still here in Santa ana, CA.

Better not to make waves. If things are going smooth, I'd stick with the program.

Hello,

We live in Vancouver as well and will have an interview Dec 8th in Tukwila, WA. I do not think you can change that though. My hubby had his citizenship interview there too, so it seems to be that they do all interviews of those residing in WA. Good luck to you two on the interview!

Maybe I should have asked if anyone has successfully changed their interview location after requesting a closer office.

Thanks,
