Hello,

My wife had her medical done in may for her fiancee visa approval. We have the I-693 form filled in by CS but we do not have any TB skin test done as it was not mentioned by CS as being needed. Is this correct? Can we send in our AOS papers without this and just our I-693 and ds-3025?

thanks,

WaltnRafi

If the CS signed off on the I-693, then you should be fine.

Many CS's are not updated with the new Immigration Guidelines. I filed mine without TST. Right now, I'm waiting for an RFE.

Good luck to us :star:

May medical is supposed to be okay. Rules say medicals after June 1 need a TST. We're all waiting to see how it plays out and how strict they are.

I got an RFE several months after my AOS interview to submit a TB skin test. I had the chest X Ray done in Canada and wasn't quite sure why the skin test was needed. I was pleasantly surprised that the CS only charged 10 dollars for it.

I can't wait to know the answer to this question.........

It's my understanding that if one form in the I-485 package is not filled out completely (i.e. something that's grounds for an RFE), it MAY NOT hold up an EAD production. Does anyone know if an incomplete I-693 (i.e.no TST/PPD/Tb skin test done) is it necessary for an EAD approval? I can deal with an RFE for my GC, but this non-work stuff is getting old.
