DS-3032 & AOS

For those of you who have already done thru the DS-3032 and AOS stage, how long did it take for your AOS bill and DS-3032 to be generated after you received your NVC case number? I am trying to set my expectations straight.

it only took couple of days or about a week or 2.

but if u ask NVC operator they have standard response 2-4 weeks or more.......

anyway NVC is fast so dont worry........

I am still waiting for AOS package from NVC.

When I called the NVC automated system it says that NVC has sent the package to my lawer on 12/01/2008.

Yestaerdy I checked with my lawyer and he said he did not receive it. Hope he gets it today.

Keep us posted and I will do the same.

Are you saying that NVC generated your AOS package the same day they received your case? Wow! that's fast. I've researched my butt off on this and it seems like 5-6 days is the average time they take to generate AOS and DS-3032.

One last question on this for people who have already passed through the AOS and DS-3032 stage. Did you find out the AOS and DS-3032 is generated from the AVR or a live operator? I've made two calls so far and they seemed to annoyed that I am already asking this question to them. They are saying that we just loaded your case in our system.

Yeah, most operators are like that but don't let them blow you off. I would still call everyday. I think the thing is that they might track the calls that come in and possibly keep a log of how many times you call...or at least some agencies do this. Still you have a right to know what is happening with you case. I would not be offended by the operators and at times I take everything they say with a grain of salt because usually the time frames they give are not the "normal" time frames...they just don't want to be bothered. If you call once a day then you will know exactly when the AOS fee bill and DS-3032 are generated and will be able to send the DS-3032 off immediately if you have already prepared this. This will save a lot of time. Don't worry...shouldn't be long for NVC to generate these.

Also, the only reason why I would recommend speaking to an operator every time is because the AVR only updates twice a week I think and sometimes it does not update at all for some cases. It is not very reliable.

i always got nice operators, i never could get anything fr the automated system i was at nvc one month and one day so get ready to be busy and get prepared

I'll check with them next week. they should have those two items generated. right now, the AVR message says, "the case number assigned is ....please wait 4-6 weeks for the beneficiary to receive information..."

I just can't send ds-3032 now, can i?

we also ringed up NVC all the time before.

until one time one nice operator adviced us to request for early interview due to am pregnant,

she told us what to do.....

so i and my husband emailed NVC, stating about my situation,we sent proof and evidences that i am really preg and a concise letter...

then NVC rules!!!!!!!!!!!! after one week or few days they got our email request and they expedite our case,

we never expect that............

we're so happy that time to know that our case got expedited ,thou being preg is not candidate for expedite case.............

now am already here with husband, just waiting for a few weeks to have a baby.........kinda like excited......

anyway dont worry about NVC they are quite fast this time....

just look at our time line that's what gonna happend.....

all u have to do is prepare ur DS230........as a next step.......becareful with RFE

I received our's 11 days from the day it was sent to the NVC, I didn't get the NVC case number before hand. I sent the DS-3032 via e-mail and snail mail, and paid the AOS fee online, the same day, I hope this helps, good luck, Mike & Yizhen
