hey I have been trying to call about my wife's case (aos) and can't find a option to talk with someone, each one I press is a recording, none to take to a person, what am I doing wrong? joan got notice on 10/7/08 they that got her paper work, and they cashed the check on the 9th, but then have heard nothing, is this normal? thanks for your help

Hi,

Try again to call them, it is not easy but somehow it is possible to get a real person, I usually end up pressing choices that is not the choice for my question.

But eventually I have reached an actual person

there are 4 numbers you have to enter as options. I have them written down at work, but I'm at home now. I think it is 1-4-0-2. They may be out of order though. I will try to remember to check tomorrow to make sure. I've called DOS at least once a week for 7 months now, I should remember........

Yes, hearing nothing for a while is normal. The first correspondence does usually come in a month or so though. It will be an appointment for biometrics.
